When to take leave in Northern Ireland

What one, two or three days of leave get you:

Saint Patrick's Day, Orangemen's Day, and holidays in Northern Ireland

In Northern Ireland, the bank holiday calendar includes two statutory public holidays unique within the United Kingdom: Saint Patrick's Day (17 March) and the Battle of the Boyne / Orangemen's Day (12 July), commemorating the historic 1690 battle.

School calendars are published by the Department of Education, with local closures coordinated with regional bank holidays.
