Public holidays and parish traditions in Andorra

Public holidays in the Principality of Andorra reflect its unique institutional heritage under its two Co-Princes (the Bishop of Urgell and the President of France). National holidays include Constitution Day (14 March) and National Day (8 September, Feast of Our Lady of Meritxell), while each of Andorra's seven parishes celebrates its own parish festival (Festa Major) as a local public holiday.

Andorra hosts three educational systems running in parallel: the Andorran, French, and Spanish systems. School holiday dates are unified across all three systems by a joint government decree, coordinating vacation periods with tourism seasons and integrating compulsory school ski programs.
