Wooden tserkvas in Bieszczady and Wooden Architecture Route

In Subcarpathia, borderland heritage is preserved in the historic wooden Orthodox and Greek Catholic tserkvas of the Lemko and Boyko peoples (recognised by UNESCO) across the Bieszczady and Low Beskids.

The region is known for traditional pottery centres like Medynia Głogowska and the Wooden Architecture Route. In winter, Bieszczady and Beskid ski stations welcome families during the two-week school holiday.
