Great Masurian Lakes and Days of Grunwald

In Warmia and Masuria, known as the Land of a Thousand Lakes, summer is shaped by yachting, canoeing, and lake tourism across lakes Śniardwy, Mamry, and the unique inclined-plane Elbląg Canal.

In mid-July, the Fields of Grunwald host the Days of Grunwald, featuring a large-scale historical reenactment of the 1410 Battle of Grunwald with thousands of knights from around the globe. Winter breaks follow the national school schedule.
