Fête de la Vallée d'Aoste and Saint-Ours fair

In the bilingual Autonomous Region of Valle d'Aosta (Val d'Aoste), regional identity is celebrated on 26 February (Fête de la Vallée d'Aoste), commemorating the 1948 Special Statute of autonomy, alongside the patronal feast of Saint-Grat (7 September).

In late January, the historic Fête de Saint-Ours (Fiera di Sant'Orso) gathers master woodcrafters in Aosta. The school calendar is adopted by the autonomous regional administration, accommodating bilingual French-Italian education.
